Dear Clients, we encourage you to read this Privacy Policy before providing us with any personal information and before using any part of our websites. So, please read carefully all information about our Privacy Policy which we provide in the tab "Privacy Policy".

Victory Home Inspection, Inc. follows with the laws and regulations under applicable privacy laws in Canada, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

We will treat personal information in a manner consistent with the version of our Privacy Policy unless we have your consent to treat it differently.

This Privacy Policy applies to any personal information we collect or receive about you, from any source, including through our websites (the “Websites”) and email.

The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to inform our clients about the types of personal information Victory Home Inspection, Inc. (as follows, “we” or “us”) collects, uses and discloses, how we use and disclose that information, as well as which choices our clients have regarding such use and disclosure and how they may correct that information.

By providing us with any personal information or using any of the Websites, you are signifying that you agree with all of the terms of this Privacy Policy, so please do not do so if you disagree with any part of this Privacy Policy.

What is personal information?

Personal information is any factual or subjective information about an identifiable individual.

Your personal information, which we collect, may include but is not limited to:

  • name;
  • billing address;
  • mailing address;
  • postal code;
  • address of an inspected property;
  • phone numbers; and
  • email address.

A reason we collect your personal information is to prepare your contract for our service/services; and sometimes (with your concent) send useful information in home inspection areas.

How do we collect and use your personal information?

We do not insist on a Client registration on our website. So you may read, share, and print all  information you consider useful without any registration.
 
However, in order to place an order for our services, you must provide some your personal data to prepare your Contract; and in such cases you will be asked to   provide your name, billing address, an address of inspected property, phone, email address and etc.

When this happens, Victory Home Inspection, Inc. always collects Clients' personal information by fair and lawful means.

Whenever we collect your personal information, we will identify the purposes for which we will use that information and we will obtain your consent to such use.

We may also use, or disclose your personal information, if we have reason to believe that using or disclosing such information is necessary to protect our rights, safety or property, including by detecting and preventing fraud.
We may also use your personal information as otherwise permitted by law.
 

"No-Spam" Policy

We maintain a strict "No-Spam" Policy. We do not send junk mails  to our clients or any unsolicited bulk messages to our clients.

However, to receive interesting, useful and realizable advices  about houses health, possible problems, maintaning, promotional offers and more you may sign up through our website.

Over time, if you decide not  receiving information from us, you can opt-out at any time through “unsubscribe” link.
 

Do we share Clients’ personal information with third parties?

No, we promise, we do not sell, rent, or otherwise give your e-mail address or other personal information to  third-parties.

We may disclose your personal information, if we have reason to believe that using or disclosing such information is necessary to protect our rights, safety or property, including by detecting and preventing fraud. In such case we will identify you to whom and for what purposes the disclosure will be made, and will obtain your consent to such disclosure.

In any case, we only disclose your personal information as permitted or required by law.
 

How may a Client review his/her personal information that we have collected and used?

We provide some options to request information about your personal data in our database. To make a request you may:

  • call us (416) 522-88-53 (Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 08:30 pm EST)
  • write us a letter to our mailing address: 88 Firwood Drive, Richmond Hill, ON, L4S 0E8;
  • send a message to our email: persdata@weinspecthome.com
Upon request we will provide you with an official letter stating which personal information is contained in our database, as well as for what purposes it was used or is being used. If necessary, at your request we will make corrections to your personal information that is kept.

We will provide the requested information only to you or an authorized person  in a form that is generally understandable, including explaining any abbreviations or codes.

Victory Home Inspection, Inc. reserves the right to make changes in this Privacy Statement. Such changes will take effect immediately upon posting.

By continuing to interact with us following such changes, including by using our Sites, you will be deemed to have agreed to such changes. If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Statement, please do not continue using our Sites.
