Our electrical devices

General info about our electrical devices

1.

An electrical part of any Canadian house is complex, and if there are issues it may led to fire and electrical hazards, other safety issues and finally life threatening.
Therefore, owner or prospective buyers have to realize significance of detecting and eliminating all electrical issues in time.

To help our clients in identification electrical issues, we obtain modern electrical devices.

Please, see below detailed descriptions of all our electrical equipment.

The clump meter

2.

A clump meter is an electrical device with jaws (sensors). The sensors open and clamp around an electrical conductor.

This device allows to measure the current without:

  • direct intervention in a circuit;
  • disconnection of a circuit for insertion through the sensors.

Having a hinged jaw integrated into an electrical meter allows the inspector to clamp the jaws around a wire, cable or other conductor at any point in an electrical system, measure current in that circuit without disconnecting/deenergizing it, and detect problems with electrical wiring systems of a property.

AFCI and GFCI Outlet Tester

3.

A GFCI and AFCI outlet tester is a device that detects the most common wiring faults in standard, AFCI, and GFCI electrical outlets. It test AFCI devices by simulating arc fault conditions and GFCI devices by simulating ground fault conditions.

AFCIs (Arc Fault Circuit Interrupters) is a device that is designed to detect a wide range of arcing electrical faults to help reduce the electrical system from being an ignition source of a fire. So, the function of the AFCI is to protect the branch circuit wiring from dangerous arcing faults that could initiate an electrical fire.

GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter). The function of the GFCI is to protect people from the deadly effects of electric shock that could occur if parts of an electrical appliance or tool become energized due to a ground fault.

Therefore, it’s very important to make sure that all AFCI and GFCI outlets of a property work properly.

Non-contact Voltage Tester

4.

A non-contact voltage tester is a device that provides non-contact detection of voltage in cables, cords, circuit breakers, lighting fixtures, switches, outlets and wires.

It detects voltage without the need for a test probe to touch the wire or surface that is being tested.

Circuit Breaker Finder

5.

Our circuit breaker finder contains integrated GFCI Outlet Tester. It is used to locate the correct circuit breaker in a panel to which an electrical outlet or fixture is connected. Transmitter incorporates a GFCI outlet tester to inspect the wiring condition at the electrical outlet and test GFCI devices

It detects voltage without the need for a test probe to touch the wire or surface that is being tested.
